Our distinctive approach
We believe that a small firm composed of experienced lawyers is the best model for delivering high-quality and cost-effective regulatory legal services to clients. Our experience and collaborative model enable us to work efficiently and effectively.
Affordable innovation
Our unique structure allows us to embrace alternative (non-hourly) billing models. Much of our work is done via fixed retainers or project-based fees. Our value-based billing practices have enabled us to maintain a delivery model that is optimized for financial regulatory practice.
Value-based billing, in turn, makes it easier for us to innovate using technology-driven methods. We embrace the use of technology that expands our capacity to deliver greater value to clients faster and more efficiently. We draw on a growing portfolio of technology tools built specifically to support our regulatory practice. And we continually expand this toolset with innovative solutions tailored to specific client matters.
Collaborative inside and out
Supported by technology, senior lawyers at our firm do their own research and writing and routinely seek input on work product from other lawyers in the firm before it is finalized. We ensure responsiveness by working on a cooperative basis. While one lawyer may have the primary relationship with a particular client, we share the work for clients based upon assignments and skill sets.
Our collaborative approach extends outside our boundaries as well. The members of the law firm are counsels with Squire Patton Boggs and in that capacity provide regulatory and compliance advice to Squire’s financial services clients. We also routinely support consulting and policy firms, serving as the technical and analytical spine behind legislative and regulatory relations efforts.
